Description
It's finally finished! This painting took such a long time, mainly because I couldn't find the time to sit and work on it properly. The majority of this was painted during breaks in work or on night shifts in work.
I've had a weird obsession with this statue since I first saw the Angels and Demons film all them years ago. When I first read the book I was obsessed with turning my name into ambigrams. I was a peculiar teenager.
I've drawn, redrawn and attempted to recreate this statue so many times, I personally don't think I'll ever get to the level were I'm completely satisfied with my version of it, but this attempt is my best so far, and I'm genuinely happy with it. I've added a few tweaks and extras to it, just to make it my own.
My first painting done on my Surface Pro 4, and it's a really decent laptop.. tablet.. thing haha
